Leaves compared with flowers*seems an odd
thing to try, to me; tis like apples and oranges
as the saying goes; neither one like the other
Yet taking one without the other also seems
a bit foolish, as each complements each and
perhaps that’s why they’re designed as such
But the bard Frost who asked the question
first brought mood into the whole issue and
he made a whole other poem of it, so you
see … I’ve treated this much too lightly…
